Continuous Worship “Greater Than” Conference

“…the one who is in you is GREATER THAN the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

The next Continuous Worship Conference is coming February 6-8, 2014. The theme this year is “Greater Than.”

Is anything too big for our God? Is anything impossible for our God? Our view of God affects how we worship. Join us at this year’s CWC as we discover together that God is Greater Than.

Main Speaker: Ty DesEnfants, associate pastor at Northills Baptist Church (Lingle, WY)

Ty is best described as a “Jack of all trades, master of none”.  He grew up on a ranch North of Torrington and points to North Hills as being a significant part of his spiritual development growing up.  Ty worked as a Youth Pastor for twelve years in Chadron, NE, Cheyenne, WY, and then at North Hills until he was ‘demoted’ to Associate Pastor in 2012.  He thrives on creativity and leads worship at North Hills as well as overseeing the disicipleship process.  He is married to Sara and has three children (Adelle, Evelyn and Heidi).

Hi Guys,

We’re finally doing it! Our first ever Church Planter Bootcamp. If you have planted a church in the past 3 to 5 years, this event is for you!  In order to better accommodate everyone, we are going to do the boot camp in conjunction with the Berean Fellowship Leadership Forum on April 8-10 at Maranatha Camp near North Platte, Nebraska. We’d like to start Sunday evening on the 7th and conclude Wednesday afternoon on the 10th. This is for the men this time around, and we will work on incorporating the wives at other events like the annual National Conference.

Program elements:

  • Combination of vision casting and idea sharing for our church planting movement
  • Applicable learning tracks
  • Developing leaders, elders, and team
  • Developing stewardship, giving, and budget
  • Healthy pace and rhythm in ministry and family
  • Gathering and scattering ministries
  • Combo of lecture and interactive discussion
  • One-one-one interaction

Tom Wood from Church Multiplication Ministries will be a featured guest. Tom authored the book “Gospel Coach” with Acts29.

We strongly encourage all new and recent church planters to participate in this event! The financial cost will be minimal, and I will have that info out to you right away. For now please add this to your spring calendar!

Let me know if you have any questions at all!

What better way to spend a week of your summer than out at Maranatha Camp with your youth leaders and friends from your church! Not only will you have the most fun of your life, but you will be challenged spiritually and meet over 500 cool people from 17 other churches from Missouri, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Kansas. Check out more details below or talk to your youth leader and get registered today.

Every day there is a morning chapel with our very own mad scientist, Mr. Wizard, who does amazing science experiments like the tornado of fire, flaming pickles, propane bubble bomb, diet coke missile and other crazy experiments. (Don’t worry we haven’t lost anyone yet!)

After chapel you have time just to chill with your youth group and youth leaders to talk over what God is doing in your heart. Sometimes it is good for us just to slow down and have someone that loves us listen to what we are going through.

After lunch there is a crazy activity for everyone. Imagine more than 500 people playing playing crazy games in a mud pit, sliding on an 80 foot slip and slide and even making boats from cardboard and racing them across the lake! Soooooo much fun!

Each afternoon there is also time for you to hang at the waterfront and launch people on the blob 20 feet into the air, or just take a nap on the beach front. With wakeboarding, tubing, canoeing and the Sweet Shop your afternoon of free time is perfect for having a blast with your friends.

At night we have chapel time where the speaker will challenge you in your faith and the worship band will help us focus our hearts on how amazing our God is. Some of most life changing decisions are made in this setting where we are all seeking after God away from all the pressures of our regular life.

At night there are different activities that your church will sign up for like “glow in the dark” paint ball, smores and a campfire, karaoke, talent show and even “glow in the dark” capture the flag.

Each church group will be housed in the same area so you know your cabin leaders and are in a cabin with your friends. Cabin time is a time just before you go to bed for you to chill with your cabin and youth leader and talk about the day and unwind before dozing off to sleep. Some of the best conversations happen during this unstructured time.

So as you can see…this week of camp will “blow your face off”! If you haven’t registered do it now and don’t miss out on this awesome week!

See you there!
